Pink Tile Education is proud to be supporting a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Burgess Hill area who are seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers for ad hoc, flexible cover work. Work is completely flexible and can be tailored around your availability, offering true casual, day-to-day cover that fits around your life. You will be stepping into a variety of classrooms, delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining continuity of learning, and ensuring students remain engaged, supported, and on task in the absence of their regular teacher.
Schools are looking for confident professionals who can quickly adapt to new environments, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide a calm, positive learning experience for students.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Be confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects (secondary experience desirable)
- Be flexible and available for ad hoc, short-notice work
- Be able to adapt quickly to different school environments
- Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining engagement
- Be reliable, professional, and passionate about supporting student learning
This role is ideal for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, returning teachers, or those wanting to reduce workload while still staying active in the classroom.
Hours: Ad hoc / casual work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (varies by booking). The pay stated is inclusive of the 12.07% PAYE holiday. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will be subject to relevant background checks, including an enhanced DBS.
