De-Escalation Mentors required in Hastings and surrounding areas. Are you calm under pressure, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We are looking for dedicated De-Escalation Mentors to work within Primary and Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) settings.
Contract and Pay
- Full-Time | Term Time Only
- Weekly Pay Day Rate: £95 – £105
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who may display challenging behaviour, struggle with emotional regulation, or need additional support to engage with education.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting students in and out of the classroom
- Using de-escalation strategies to manage challenging situations
- Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma, and additional needs
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor
- Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
