Behaviour and Belonging Teaching Assistant – Hastings

Pink Tile Education is recruiting a Behaviour and Belonging Teaching Assistant for schools in Hastings, to support pupils who may struggle with behaviour, confidence, emotional regulation or trust in adults.
This role suits someone who is calm, resilient and warm. You might have experience in schools, youth work, care, coaching, mentoring, children’s homes, sports coaching or support work. What matters most is the ability to build relationships, hold boundaries and help pupils in Hastings feel that school is somewhere they can succeed.
We have temporary, permanent and temp-to-permanent Teaching Assistant opportunities across Hastings, with immediate and September starts.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils who may struggle with behaviour, confidence, emotional regulation or trust in adults.
- Build positive relationships, establish and maintain appropriate boundaries, and create a supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support pupils’ overall wellbeing and engagement.
Qualifications and profile
- Calm, resilient, and warm disposition.
- Experience in schools, youth work, care, coaching, mentoring, children’s homes, sports coaching or support work is desirable.
- Ability to build relationships and help pupils in Hastings feel they can succeed academically and personally.
