Pink Tile Education are looking for a Sports and Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a school in Crawley. This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a sport, coaching, fitness, football, rugby, martial arts, youth work or mentoring background who wants to move into education.
As a Sports and Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who may need help with behaviour, focus, resilience, motivation and emotional regulation. Your ability to build relationships, encourage effort and model positive choices will be important. Some pupils respond well to structure, movement, clear expectations and adults who are calm, confident and consistent.
This role could suit a sports coach, football coach, rugby coach, gym instructor, youth mentor, care worker, behaviour mentor or someone who has supported young people outside of a traditional classroom. The school is looking for someone with presence, patience and the ability to connect with pupils who may not instantly trust adults.
