Pink Tile Education is looking for an SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a school in Hastings. This role is suitable for someone who is emotionally steady, resilient, and genuinely interested in supporting pupils who may be struggling with school, relationships, confidence or regulation.
As a SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant you will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them manage anxiety, frustration, low confidence, ADHD, autism, trauma-related barriers or challenging behaviour. You will provide consistent support, boundaried and warm, ensuring a safe and structured environment even on difficult days.
The role is a good fit for someone with experience in care, youth work, youth offending, mental health support, SEND, behaviour intervention, sports coaching, mentoring or pastoral support. While perfection is not required, calmness, reliability and a commitment to consistency are essential.
Location: Hastings
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Contract options: temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
Start date: As soon as possible or September
