A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brighton is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team from September. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with Autism and associated learning needs. The pupil is a bright and engaging child who benefits from structure, consistency, and positive relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping them access learning, develop confidence, and navigate the school day successfully.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day

  • Monitoring and recording progress against targets
  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals
