Pink Tile Education are recruiting a SEMH Support Teaching Assistant for a school in Bexhill. The role is suited for someone calm, patient and resilient who wants to support pupils with emotional wellbeing, behaviour and access to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with pupils who experience anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, ADHD, autism, trauma‑related barriers or challenging behaviour.
  • Help pupils follow routines, regulate emotions, rebuild confidence and engage positively with school.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in mental health support, youth work, mentoring, care, SEND, pastoral support, behaviour support, sports coaching or residential support.
  • Ability to understand that progress can be slow but consistency can change outcomes.

Location & Contract

  • Location: Bexhill
  • Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
  • Contract options: Temporary, permanent and temp‑to‑perm opportunities available
  • Start: As soon as possible or September
