SEMH Behaviour Mentor – Crawley
Pay: £100 - £140 per day
Pink Tile Education are seeking a SEMH Behaviour Mentor for a school in Crawley. This role would suit someone who is calm, confident and able to build trust with pupils who may find school difficult.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, routines, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Help pupils with anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma‑related needs, social communication needs or SEMH needs feel safe, supported and able to make positive choices throughout the school day.
- Work within the school’s pastoral framework to promote student wellbeing and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Experience in schools, youth work, care, mentoring, sports coaching, mental health support, SEND support or behaviour intervention.
- Reliable, able to maintain boundaries, and remain calm when pupils are overwhelmed or dysregulated.
- Willingness to undertake enhanced DBS, right‑to‑work checks and other safeguarding suitability checks.
Contract & Location
- Location: Crawley
- Contract options: Temporary, permanent and temp‑to‑perm opportunities available.
- Start date: As soon as possible or September.
