We are currently recruiting a qualified Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in West Drayton from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire students across the Science curriculum. You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, develop scientific understanding, and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
The role will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teaching engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages, as appropriate
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the continued development of the Science department
- Promoting high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) β essential
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across one or more Science disciplines
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring young people and supporting their academic success
- A proactive, organised, and reflective approach to teaching
