We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive educational setting. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support to help them engage positively with learning and school life.

The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils develop positive behaviours, emotional regulation skills, and confidence within the school environment. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents, and external professionals to create a consistent and supportive approach to student wellbeing and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted behaviour and pastoral support to identified pupils.
- Build positive, professional relationships with students.
- Support pupils with SEMH, SEND, and behavioural needs.
- Deliver mentoring sessions focused on engagement, attendance, and personal development.
- Assist pupils in developing emotional regulation and coping strategies.
- Support behaviour management both in and outside the classroom.
- Monitor progress and contribute to support plans and interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement in learning.
- Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures.
