Pupil Support Assistants to join a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September. Supporting pupils aged
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) , you’ll play a key role in helping students feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new school from day one, working alongside a supportive team to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support throughout the school day.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Building trusted relationships with pupils to boost confidence and engagement.
- Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom.
- Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to meet individual pupil needs.
About You
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within education, SEND, care or youth work.
- Calm, empathetic and resilient, with a positive attitude.
- Able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
- Passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
