Pink Tile Education is recruiting

Pupil Mentors to join a specialist SEND school in Cranleigh, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties .

This is a rewarding role focused on engagement, relationships and individual support , helping pupils overcome barriers and make progress both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support throughout the school day.
  • Helping pupils engage with learning and school activities.
  • Building trusting relationships and acting as a positive role model.
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils manage challenges.
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to meet individual needs.

About You

We're looking for someone who is

  • Experienced working with children or young people with SEN, SEND or additional needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient.
  • Confident building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Positive and supportive in their approach.
  • Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.

A driver with access to a vehicle , due to the school's rural location.

Experience in education, care, youth work, support work or similar settings would be beneficial.

Pay includes 12.07% holiday pay.
