Pink Tile Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant for a school in Burgess Hill. This role is an opportunity for practical experience before moving into educational psychology, teaching, therapy, mental health, social work, SEND or child development.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with learning, communication, behaviour and emotional needs.
  • Assist children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, SEMH needs, speech and language needs or additional learning needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.

Qualifications

  • Thoughtful, patient and emotionally mature.
  • Psychology degree or related degree ideal; experience in tutoring, mentoring, childcare, care, youth work, SEND or mental health settings also acceptable.

Location and Contract

  • Location: Burgess Hill
  • Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
  • Start: As soon as possible or September
