We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support SEMH specialist schools across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. These schools support pupils who benefit from additional emotional and behavioural support, providing structured and supportive environments where students can thrive.
The role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Working 1:1 or in small groups
- Supporting classroom learning and behaviour strategies
- Building positive relationships with pupils
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people
- Resilient, supportive and patient approach
- DBS on the Update Service
- Safeguarding training
Flexible opportunities are available including daily supply, short-term and long-term roles starting from April 2026.
