Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a dynamic SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school, working with primary children who have a range of complex needs and may display challenging behaviours. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent position will specifically involve supporting a child with complex needs, who exhibits challenging behaviour and has very limited communication. The ideal candidate will be resilient, skilled in behaviour management, and ready to make a meaningful impact in young lives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND needs.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour in line with school policies and strategies.
- Develop trusting relationships with students, helping them to engage in their learning and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
