Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Mental Health Teaching Assistant for a school in Crawley. This role would suit someone compassionate, resilient, and interested in supporting children with emotional wellbeing and barriers to learning.
As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant you may support pupils with anxiety, low confidence, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, trauma‑related needs, emotional regulation difficulties or social communication needs. You will help pupils feel settled, follow routines, manage transitions and engage more positively with school.
We are looking for someone calm, thoughtful and reliable. Experience in schools, care, youth work, counselling support, mental health support, SEND, mentoring or behaviour support would be helpful, but the school will value emotional maturity and consistency above all.
Location: Crawley
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Contract options: Temporary, permanent and temp‑to‑perm opportunities available
Start: As soon as possible or September
