We are currently recruiting a qualified Science Teacher for a specialist SEN school in Chessington, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and ability levels, including complex Autism and associated learning needs.
This role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons up to GCSE level within a supportive specialist setting.
The role includes:
- Planning and delivering Science lessons across KS3 & KS4
- Teaching pupils up to GCSE level
- Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Working closely with support staff and wider SEN teams
- Helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
