We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEMH school in Roehampton from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils develop the functional, sensory, and emotional skills they need to access learning and thrive within the school environment.

The role will include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Developing and implementing individual therapy plans
  • Working closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Contributing to EHCP targets and multidisciplinary reviews
  • Promoting independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children and young people (desirable)
  • An interest in SEMH and specialist education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and child-centred approach

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
