We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and supportive Secondary Teaching Assistants to work within secondary schools across the Littlehampton area. The Role
- As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide classroom support, promote engagement in learning, and contribute to a positive educational environment.
- You may also support students with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and develop confidence both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
- Working with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Assisting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where required.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting classroom management.
- Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

- Have experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
