We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join supportive school settings in the Littlehampton area. These roles involve providing tailored, individual support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
About the Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a named pupil, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. You will collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver personalised support plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing consistent 1:1 in-class and/or out-of-class support
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Supporting behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging independence and positive engagement in learning
- Assisting with communication strategies where required
- Recording observations and contributing to progress reviews
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
