Job Summary
1:1 Learning Mentor – Littlehampton
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Location: Littlehampton
Contract: Temporary, Permanent, Temp‑to‑Perm
Start: As soon as possible or September
Responsibilities
As a 1:1 Learning Mentor, you will support a pupil with learning, behaviour, communication, routines and emotional regulation. You will help them stay engaged in lessons, manage transitions, build trust with adults and develop positive social skills. The role requires patience, consistency and helping a child take small but important steps forward.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone calm, encouraging and emotionally steady. Experience in schools, care, childcare, mentoring, youth work, SEND, behaviour support, tutoring or coaching is valuable. The role may also suit people searching for Learning Support Assistant, 1:1 Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Individual Needs Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, School Support Worker or Primary TA roles.
