Pink Tile Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a wonderful secondary school in Lancing on a full‑time, permanent basis, starting September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring young people through computer science to become part of a supportive and welcoming school community. This is a full‑time, permanent position, paid on the MPS/UPS payscale.
What We’re Looking For
- A passionate and motivated Computer Science Teacher who enjoys engaging students with computing
- QTS preferred
- Experience teaching computer science or computing at secondary level (KS3–KS5)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive and proactive attitude towards contributing to the wider school community
- A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Computer Science lessons across KS3 to KS5
- Encourage curiosity and a love of coding, algorithms, and computational thinking
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students of varying abilities
- Monitor student progress and support their development in computer science
- Contribute positively to the computing department and wider school activities
