Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
- Prepare pupils for end‑of‑key‑stage expectations, including SATs (where applicable)
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to support a range of abilities and needs
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching within KS2
- Strong curriculum knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
- Confident in managing behaviour and maintaining high expectations
- A committed and adaptable approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Experience preparing pupils for SATs
