We are working with a specialist SEN school near Sevenoaks, Kent who are seeking an experienced Pastoral Lead to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a key role supporting pupils with additional needs, focusing on wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement, while working closely with teaching and senior leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting pastoral provision across the school
- Working closely with pupils with SEN and associated social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- Providing targeted support 1:1, in small groups, and within the wider school environment
- Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies where required
- Being a consistent, calm, and supportive presence for pupils
Qualifications
- Has relevant experience in a pastoral, behaviour, SEN, or similar support role
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Is confident supporting pupils with complex needs
- Is resilient, patient, and proactive
- Can commit to a full-time role, starting ASAP or after May half term
