We are looking for a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Horsham, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a real difference to pupils across both primary and secondary age groups, including those with autism and additional needs.
The Role:
- Supporting students with SEMH needs and autism on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Helping to deliver engaging, tailored learning activities
- Managing and responding to challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
- Supporting students with emotional regulation and building positive relationships
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Working closely with teachers and a wider support team to provide a structured and supportive environment
Key Details:
- Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Pay: £127 per day
- Working with primary and secondary students
