Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Calm Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a school in Horsham. This role would suit someone who can stay steady, positive and consistent when pupils are finding the school day difficult.
As a Calm Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, routines, confidence and engagement in learning. Some pupils may have SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, communication needs or trauma‑related barriers. The school is looking for someone who can de‑escalate calmly, build trust gradually and help pupils feel safe enough to learn.
This role may suit someone from youth work, care, mentoring, pastoral support, behaviour support, mental health support, SEND, sports coaching or alternative provision. You do not need to have worked in a school before, but you do need to be reliable, emotionally steady and able to stay calm when pupils are not.
