We are looking for dedicated and resilient Support Staff to work within a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) boys’ school supporting pupils across KS2, KS3 and KS4. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who want to move away from long shifts and weekend work into a structured, term-time role.
The Role
- Supporting pupils in the classroom and during activities
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
- Encouraging engagement in learning and routines
- Promoting emotional regulation and social skills
- Working closely with teaching staff and therapists
- Providing a safe, structured and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience (Desirable but not essential):
- SEMH, SEN or behaviour support
- Care or support work
- Youth work or mentoring
- Mental health support roles
