Pink Tile Education are working with a specialist provision in the Havant area who are seeking a resilient and confident SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long‑term basis. The role will involve supporting pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support within both classroom and intervention settings.

This position would suit someone who:

  • Has experience supporting SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Is calm under pressure
  • Can build positive professional relationships quickly
  • Is confident working both 1:1 and within small groups
  • Understands the importance of consistency and boundaries

Experience within schools, care, youth work, residential support or alternative provision would all be highly beneficial. The school are particularly keen to meet candidates who can support:

  • Emotional regulation
  • Behaviour management
  • Engagement within learning
  • Social communication

This is a full‑time, long‑term role with potential to continue into the new academic year.

Applicants MUST:

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Have up‑to‑date safeguarding training
  • Have recent experience working with children or vulnerable young people
