DE-ESCALATION MENTORS REQUIRED – HAILSHAM & SURROUNDING AREAS

Are you calm under pressure, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We are looking for dedicated De-Escalation Mentors to work within Primary and Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) settings across Hailsham and surrounding areas.

Full-Time | Term Time Only

Weekly Pay Day Rate: £95 – £105

This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who may display challenging behaviour, struggle with emotional regulation, or need additional support to engage with education.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Supporting students in and out of the classroom
  • Using de-escalation strategies to manage challenging situations
  • Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma, and additional needs
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor
  • Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
