Pink Tile Education is recruiting a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a school in Hailsham. The role is suited to someone who is confident, calm, and consistent, and who wants to help pupils manage behaviour and feel more successful in school.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, routines, confidence, focus and engagement.
- Assist pupils who may have SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, communication needs, or trauma‑related barriers.
- Build relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and providing steady, fair, and encouraging support, especially when pupils have a difficult day.
Qualifications
- Experience in youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring, SEND, SEMH, pastoral support, behaviour support, or mental health support is desirable.
Location / Pay
- Location: Hailsham
- Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
- Contract options: Temporary, permanent, and temp‑to‑perm opportunities available
