SEND Learning Support Assistant – Primary Setting in Fareham

Pink Tile Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary setting in Fareham from September 2026.
This is a long‑term opportunity supporting children with additional needs on both a 1:1 and small group basis. The school are looking for someone calm, nurturing, and proactive who genuinely enjoys helping children build confidence and access learning successfully within a supportive classroom environment.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including:
- Autism
- Speech & Language needs
- SEMH
- ADHD
- EHCP-supported learning
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
- Assisting children to access learning activities across the curriculum
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff, and pastoral teams
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence within learning
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa.
- Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one.
