Behaviour Assistants to join a brand-new specialist school opening in Esher this September. Supporting pupils aged

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and

Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) , you'll play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement with learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new school from day one, helping to create a positive, nurturing environment where every pupil can succeed.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis throughout the school day.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop emotional regulation strategies.
  • Building trusted relationships to improve confidence, attendance and engagement.
  • Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
  • Working closely with teachers and the pastoral team to meet individual needs.

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly in education, SEND, care or youth work.
  • Calm, resilient and empathetic, with a positive approach.
  • Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Pay includes 12.07% holiday pay.
