Pink Tile Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Eastbourne supporting pupils who need structure, trust and consistency. This Eastbourne school supports pupils who may have experienced barriers to learning, trauma, anxiety, low confidence, behaviour challenges or difficulty coping in mainstream settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in small classes, helping with learning, regulation, routines and positive relationships.
  • Remain calm, avoid taking behaviour personally and consistently show up as a calm, reliable adult for pupils.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience in SEMH, SEND, behaviour support, youth work, care, mentoring, residential support or school-based support.
  • Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
