We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a well-established nursery setting in Eastbourne on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children. The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful 12‑week period.
The Role
- Supporting children aged 0–5 with their learning, development, and daily routines.
- Delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
- Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress and achievements.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Ensuring safeguarding and nursery policies are followed at all times.
We Are Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
