We are currently recruiting passionate and resilient Teaching Assistants (TA’s) and Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) to work within SEND schools across Eastbourne and surrounding areas. These are rewarding long-term opportunities supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD), Autism (ASD), SEMH, and complex needs.
THE ROLE: You will be supporting pupils either:
- 1:1 (individual support)
- In small groups or class settings
- Alongside teachers and SEN teams to deliver personalised learning support
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs in and out of the classroom
- Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Encouraging engagement in learning through tailored strategies
- Supporting communication, independence, and social development
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
- Helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
