Graduate Teaching Assistant – East Grinstead
£14.25 to £16.40 per hour
We are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a school in East Grinstead. The role is ideal for a graduate who wants practical school experience before moving into teaching, psychology, SEND, therapy, social work, youth work or child development.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in lessons
- Help with small‑group work
- Provide 1:1 support where needed
- Assist the class teacher with day‑to‑day learning
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, anxiety or confidence
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for someone bright, reliable and enthusiastic. A degree is useful, especially in psychology, education, childhood studies, sociology, criminology, sport or a related subject, but experience with children or young people will also be valued.

- Location: East Grinstead
- Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
- Contract options: Temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
- Start: As soon as possible or September
