We are currently recruiting a qualified PSHE Teacher for a specialist SEMH school in Dorking, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside some additional SEN. This role involves delivering engaging PSHE lessons and supporting learners who may also be working towards GCSE level content where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering PSHE lessons
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional SEN needs
- Promoting wellbeing, resilience, and life skills
- Adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Working closely with pastoral and support teams
Qualifications
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching PSHE
- Be confident working with SEMH learners
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
