We are currently recruiting for a Pupil Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Dorking, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
- Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model
- Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable
- Calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
- Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location
