We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in Croydon from September. This is an excellent opportunity to support primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs within a specialist school environment. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual targets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting with learning activities and behaviour management
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and engagement
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school or care setting
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
