Pink Tile Education is proud to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Horsham area in their search for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is confident leading a classroom in the absence of the usual teacher. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning, delivering set work, and ensuring students remain engaged and focused in a positive and structured environment.

The school is looking for someone who is calm under pressure, able to build rapport quickly, and confident in managing classroom behaviour while supporting students to stay on task and make progress.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with young people in an educational setting (school experience desirable)
  • Be confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour effectively
  • Be flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different subjects and year groups
  • Be committed to maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
  • Work well as part of a supportive school team

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm. The pay stated is inclusive of the 12.07% PAYE holiday. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will be subject to relevant background checks, including an enhanced DBS.
