We are currently seeking a dedicated and supportive SEND Pupil Support Assistant to join a specialist setting in Chichester. You will be supporting students with additional needs within a structured, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment, helping them to access learning and develop both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to students within the classroom and wider school environment
- Deliver consistent 1:1 and small group support
- Encourage engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored strategies and support plans
- Support positive behaviour management using calm and consistent approaches
- Promote emotional wellbeing, social development, and resilience
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
