  • Ensure compliance with KCSIE and safeguarding legislation
  • Contribute to risk assessments, behaviour plans, and multi-agency meetings
  • Provide guidance to staff working with pupils presenting SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Monitor attendance, welfare concerns, and pupil wellbeing across provisions
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience in a DSL or Deputy DSL safeguarding role
  • Have strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and KCSIE
  • Have experience working with SEMH, SEND, or vulnerable children/young people
  • Be confident working with external agencies and multi‑agency teams
  • Be calm, professional, and confident when dealing with complex safeguarding cases
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills

  • Supporting pupils aged 5–16 with SEMH and additional needs
  • Driving essential due to travel between sites
  • Competitive salary depending on experience
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact on vulnerable young people’s lives
