Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Burgess Hill
£14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Pink Tile Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant for a school in Burgess Hill. This role is an opportunity for practical experience before moving into educational psychology, teaching, therapy, mental health, social work, SEND or child development.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning, communication, behaviour and emotional needs.
- Assist children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, SEMH needs, speech and language needs or additional learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
Qualifications
- Thoughtful, patient and emotionally mature.
- Psychology degree or related degree ideal; experience in tutoring, mentoring, childcare, care, youth work, SEND or mental health settings also acceptable.
Location and Contract
Location: Burgess Hill
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Contract: Temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
Start: As soon as possible or September
