About the Role
Pink Tile Education is supporting a secondary school in Brighton seeking a passionate Music Specialist to join their team from 1st June. This is a full-time role covering KS3 and KS4 music lessons, with pre-planned lessons provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and creative teaching. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting students to develop their musical knowledge, creativity, and performance skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students using pre-planned materials
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Encourage student participation and creativity in music
- Ensure students remain on task and complete the set work
- Provide feedback to the school where required
Requirements
- Experience teaching or covering Music at secondary school level (KS3–KS4)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt where needed
- Reliable and available Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
