This is a long-term supply position within Key Stage 2, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Differentiating teaching to meet a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND
- Create a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment
- Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (where applicable)
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers where required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
- Confident in delivering core subjects including English and Maths
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Experience preparing pupils for SATs
- Strong understanding of assessment frameworks within KS2
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND
- A proven track record of raising attainment
