The predicted salary is between 23000 - 27000 Β£ per year.

We are currently recruiting Behaviour Support TA to join a specialist SEMH school in Haywards Heath from September. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs within a specialist school environment. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help pupils access learning, develop positive relationships, and achieve their individual goals.

The role will include:

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting with learning activities and behaviour management
  • Promoting emotional regulation and positive engagement
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within a school or care setting
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEMH needs
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location

Pay includes 12.07% holiday pay.
