Pink Tile Education are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for a school in Crawley. The role is suited to someone who is confident, consistent, and calm under pressure, with a genuine interest in helping pupils make better choices and re‑engage with learning.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs, anxiety, low confidence, emotional regulation difficulties, ADHD, autism or challenging behaviour.
- Work with teachers and pastoral staff to help pupils stay in class, follow routines, manage transitions and feel safe and supported during the school day.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications:
- Experience in schools, youth work, residential care, sports coaching, mentoring, mental health support, SEND support or behaviour intervention.
- Reliability, boundary setting, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust with pupils who may find school difficult.
Location and Hours:
- Location: Crawley
- Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
