Pink Tile Education are looking for a Behaviour Intervention Teaching Assistant for a school in Haywards Heath. This role supports pupils to reset, refocus and make positive choices during the school day.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, transitions, motivation, confidence or learning engagement.
- Support may include 1:1 tuition, small-group work and helping pupils return to learning after difficult moments.
- Assist pupils with SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, anxiety, communication needs or additional learning needs.
- Remain fair, firm, calm and encouraging to support a positive school environment.
Suitable backgrounds
This role may suit someone with experience in youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring, behaviour intervention, mental health support, pastoral support, SEND or alternative provision.
