Pink Tile Education are looking for a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant for a school in Newhaven. This role is perfect for someone who wants to support one child closely and help them feel safe, included and successful in school.
As a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will help a pupil access learning, follow routines, manage transitions and build confidence. The pupil may need support with communication, sensory needs, emotional regulation, focus, social interaction or behaviour. This role requires patience, consistency and a calm approach.
We are looking for someone nurturing, reliable and emotionally steady. Experience with SEND, autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, care, childcare, youth work or school support would be valuable, but the right attitude is essential.
Location: Newhaven
Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
Contract options: Temporary, permanent and temp-to-perm opportunities available
Start: As soon as possible or September
