We are supporting a friendly, close‑knit one‑form entry primary school in Lancing in their search for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with additional needs. About the Role
- You will work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil, supporting them throughout the school day to help them engage with learning, manage emotions, and feel confident within the classroom.
- Your role will include:
- Providing consistent 1:1 support in class and during interventions
- Helping the pupil access learning in a way that suits their individual needs
- Supporting emotional regulation, routines, and transitions
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to follow targeted strategies
